In recent times, the Corporate Governance function has come under increasing scrutiny, than ever before, from various stakeholders such as, shareholders, lenders, creditors, Government, regulators and statutory authorities. This has necessitated putting in place of of an effective system of internal controls and risk management processes. The Board of Directors, Audit Committee, Management, as well as the owners (shareholders) have come to hold high expectations from the Internal Auditors for ensuring that not only are there adequate internal controls and systems in place but for also providing value added suggestions / recommendations for improving the systems and controls in order to eliminate risks or, at the very least, mitigate them. It is our constant endeavor to assist the management and provide value added services to meet up to and, if possible, surpass to the expectations. Our range of services in this area comprises of:
- Critical evaluation of internal controls, internal systems and internal processes and providing value added recommendations for enhancement and improvement;
- Carrying out dedicated Risk Management audits and reviews in order to assist management in identifying and eliminating/mitigating risks;
- Adopting a Risk Based Approach to Internal audits;
- Assisting and advising organizations in complying with corporate governance requirements, as specified in Clause 49 of the Listing Agreement;
- Identification and recommending areas of cost reduction, streamlining of operations and recommending ways and means for improving the bottom line;
- Reviewing compliance with various regulatory requirements;
- Conducting System audits for ascertaining the robustness of IT systems, particularly in Finance & Accounting, for being able to withstand external threats, adequacy of back up procedures, Disaster Recovery Plan, etc.;
- Setting up and review of Management Information Systems, in order to provide meaningful inputs to Management;
- Advice and Assistance in setting up and implementing ERP systems, such as SAP.
